Christians on Campus – activities for first week of Spring 2012

Hi everyone,

We hope you had a good break (or Wintermester!) and are looking forward to the new Spring semester. Christians on Campus have a few activities planned for the first week of the new semester:

Welcome Table

Between 8am and 12pm on Tuesday January 17th and Wednesday January 18th we’ll have a table set up in front of the Student Life calendar (next to the book store) where we’ll be telling people about the club and signing up new members. Come by and say hi.

Welcome Lunches

On Wednesday January 18th and Thursday January 19th we’ll have free welcome lunches between 12pm and 2pm in room K216 (next to Subway).  This will be an opportunity to let everyone know about the activities we’ve planned for the semester.  We hope you can make it to one or both of these times.

The 30-Day Challenge

Read the Gospel of John in a month!

The Bible is God’s gift to man and man’s greatest treasure. It communicates to us God’s purpose, the meaning of our human life. When we read it with our spirit, we activate everything that the Bible is, touch God, and allow Him to enter into us. To make this happen, the Word has to come off the shelf, off the page, and into us through our consistent reading. We want to jumpstart this semester with a challenge – read the Bible every day for 30 days!

Pick up a copy of a bookmark with the schedule on it from our welcome table!
